Used to receive patients for weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, Uremic, etc... Therapeutic rotation with daily rounds during the training program including all the hospital units: Dietary Department, Kitchen, Hematology/ Oncology/ Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, Obstetrics/ Gynecology Unit, Pediatrics, Intensive Care Pediatrics, Intensive Care Nursery, Intensive Care unit, Coronary Care Unit, Kidney Room, and Surgery. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner line supervision.
Formulating enteral feeding formula, follow up on hospital patients plus providing them with recommendations and individualized diets at discharge (upon doctors’ request).
Consulting and giving different types of diets (diabetic, hypertensive, uremic, GI diets, cardiovascular, etc.) to patients.
Practicing in managing and administering the dietary department (rotation includes food purchasing, receiving, storage, and preparation).
Attending different lectures at the hospital related to nutrition and medical field.
Giving lectures about nutrition and healthy life style to different schools.
Continuously attending conferences on recent and challenging topics in nutrition, including child and adolescent nutrition, dietary management of metabolic syndrome, clinical nutrition, nutrition matters in women’s health, etc..
